ABOUT EGP

What we do...

East Ghost Paranormal is a small group of specialists that are genuinely enthusiastic about continually learning and providing FREE help to anyone in need. We're located on Cape Cod MA, but will travel throughout New England.  If you need us outside of New England, contact us to discuss.  We offer you the help you need with confidentiality, concern and real professionalism.  When needed, we can reach out to a vast number of other specialists in order to provide you all possible services so that you may get answers or even (possibly) closure.  We do not investigate based on any faith so that we may work from an unbiased basis.  We are sensitive to our clients' faiths and may work our investigation based on such if called for.  We use scientific methods to try and document the reported, unexplainable activity - paranormal activity.

Briefly, no one can say with 100% certainty that we know what "all this" is.  There are a lot of theories out there and some seem more valid than others.  EGP is fairly open-minded to any theory out there.  We use seemingly simple but controlled methods.  We may try more of the equipment seen on the various TV shows, but realistically, they are still experimental at best.  That is why controlling our methods is so very important.  (For more information on how we conduct investigations, please refer to the "Investigations" page)  We simply strive to rule -out the naturally-occuring events then, using what's left, provide you with the possible thoughts/theories on what is happening with you and/or your property.

East Ghost Paranormal soley concerns ourselves with you and your needs.  We know that this subject can affect people differently.  We know the shows on TV have shed a bit of light on the subject, but for most,  paranormal anomalies are very scary and uncomfortable to discuss.  We understand this and try to help you in any way we can.  This is why you can trust us with your doubts and fears.  We're here to help you.  The co-founders, Linda and Joe Dantonio have experience in running a successful business and use these skills as EGP's leaders.   At the conclusion of the entire investigation process, we will provide you with options to either live with the activity or offer various possible ways to end the activity.  No one can guarantee that they can remove all activity, but we will provide options for you to try if so desired.  As for confidentiality, we will striclty adhere to your wishes.

Please - learn more about us by continuing reading the various pages on our site. If you have any questions, no matter how uncomfortable you are with the subject, please contact us.  We will reply as soon as we're able to.

A Note on Non-Faith Based Investigating...

East Ghost Paranormal does not practice the use of any faith when investigating.  It's not that we're not religious people, it is due to the science of paranormal investigation.

First of all, we do not want to assume activity is based on anything coming from a biased thought.  We want to investigate based on actual activity.  For example, if a strongly religious Christian were to observe activity, they would likely label the "entity/entities" involved as being demonic.  Someone coming from a Wicca/Pagan faith, would assume it was due to an "Elemental".  You could have 2 different groups perform an investigation and get 2 very different answers as to what is causing the activity.  The activity might not be due to either, as it could just be a cranky "spirit".

Another reason being that, if someone approaches their investigation from a very religious point of view and the activity involved is due to a "spirit" that doesn't believe in that religion or doesn't believe in any religion, "they" may react accordingly, not that "they" need to "perform".  For example:  I wouldn't walk into a home where the family is of Buddhism, Jewish, Muslim, etc. belief and start praising Jesus.  It would be insulting.

We don't feel basing an investigation on a religious belief is the right approach.  When we investigate, our personal religious beliefs are not a part of our investigations.
